In 1988, CSI Construction was formed to take over the civil and concrete engineering department of Coastal Steel Industries. As registered Class 1 Building and Class 2 Civil's contractors, CSI operates from their base in Dar-Es-Salaam throughout the country, from building high end offices to remote power and mining projects. With a core team of 120 staff, and a multi-million dollar turnover, the company specializes in services to the healthcare, hospitality, oil and gas, mining, power, infrastructure and other general construction sectors.
