Description

Alex Chetkovich has lived and worked in Tanzania since 2013. From an agricultural background in Australia and Ireland, Alex studied in Edinburgh before moving to Kigoma, Tanzania. He has started and run organisations that work in oil palm, fish farming, and renewable energy. Since 2017 he has designed, installed, and operated the largest honey processing facility in East Africa which now employs over 100 people and sources from over 3,000 traditional beekeepers.
